Banana Oat Treats

I truly enjoy baking and am continually searching for ways to enhance the taste of my baked goods through natural means that can also pack a one two punch of additional nutrients and goodness.  This recipe is quick, simple, has two main ingredients, takes 20 minutes total and your kids will love making them!

Banana Oat Treats

Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of oats
  • Extras:
  • 1 tablespoon of raisins or cranberries
  • Almond butter
  • Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with a non-stick spray.
  3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (perfect role for children as they can dig in with their hands and squish everything together).
  4. Once blended, use a spoon to place the batter onto the baking sheet and then form into a flat circle.
  5. Then bake for 15 minutes and serve!

      Hey there Brandy! I love using about one tablespoon of Almond butter per batch…. It gives these treats a warm nutty taste but not too overpowering! Thanks for your question!
